Nestled in a heavily forested area, the trail follows the scenic path of the Jean Larose River before it plunges an awe-inspiring 60 meters into the Saint Anne River Canyon.

This series of falls (chutes) is about 3/4 a mile off the road. There are between 300 and 350 fairly steep stairs if you go all the way to the bottom but the views of the various falls are beautiful. Good walking shoes are a must. Be prepared to make the occasional stop to catch your breath. Written October 1, 2017.

The tallest of the three (yes, three!) successive falls is a full 41 metres (134 ft.) high.
